SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Aleene’s Original Tacky Glue (2 to 3 tablespoons)
- Cinnamon, 1 Cup
- Ground Cloves, 1 Tbsp.
- Ground Nutmeg, 1 Tbsp.
- Applesauce, 3/4 Cup
- Water, 1 Tbsp.
- Sealable Plastic Bag
- Gingerbread Man Cookie Cutter
- Straw
- Measuring Spoons and Cups
- Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paints, Colors of Choice
- Ribbon and Twine
DIRECTIONS:
- Mix all dry ingredients together, then add in the apple sauce in a 1 gallon ziploc bag.
- Add in 2 to 3 tablespoons of Aleene’s Tacky Glue in the mixture.
- Start mixing the products in the bag (first close the bag and get all the air out).
- Add more glue if texture is too dry.
- One the dough is mixed, you can now flatten it out with a rolling pin and cut out any desired shape you’d like.
- Once your dough is cut out, punch a hole in the dough so you can add a ribbon in later.
- You can let the dough dry for 24hrs or bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 200 degrees.
- Once the dough is dry/baked, you can start decorating with Tulip Dimensional Fabric Paints.
