SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Everyday Iron-On, Navy
  • Smart Vinyl, Removable, White
  • LightGrip Machine Mat, 12"x 12"
  • Cricut EasyPress or Cricut EasyPress Mini
  • Cricut EasyPress Mat
  • Weeder
  • Transfer Tape
  • T-Shirt, White
  • Chalkboard Sign
  • Optional: Cricut BrightPad

DIRECTIONS:

  • Go to this project on Cricut Design Space to make this-
  • Design Space Link
    Shirt design is approximately 11"x 6".
    Sign design is approximately 9"x 4 1/2".

    REPARATION
    1. To alter the project, select Customize, then use the Edit panel to make changes.
    2. To edit text, double-click the text you want to change, then update as needed. To fasten text to another layer, use Attach.

    4. Use the "First Day of School" image set to find the image needed for your student. Resize and edit as needed.

    CUT
    1. When you're ready, select Make It, and mirror your design.
    2. TIP: For help mirroring, see link below in the More Help section.
    3. Place iron-on material, shiny side (clear liner) down, on mat.
    4. Follow Design Space prompts to cut images.

    ASSEMBLE
    1. Use a Weeder Tool to remove unneeded iron-on pieces, leaving design on clear liner.
    2. Apply iron-on to your project using Cricut EasyPress and Cricut EasyPress Mat.
    3. Use Transfer Tape and a Scraper Tool to apply vinyl cuts to your project. Make sure the surface is clean and dry.
