Great variation in fibers - perfect for vintage/old timey lookThis was perfect for a vintage victorian cross stitch pattern that I wanted to look as old-timey as possible and blend with the muted thread colors the pattern used. The variation in the fibers was very natural looking. The fabric is kind of rough feeling, but not much different than the regular 18ct white aida I use.

Not 100% CottonDisappointed that this is not 100% cotton as was stated on the listing. It is instead 50% cotton 42% Polyester and 8% Linen. I try to avoid polyester at all costs and prefer natural fibers only.

Versatile and SoftLooking for Fiddler's Cloth for some rustic fairy tale cross stitch pieces, I decided to grab both the 16- and 18-count Fiddler's. The 16 count is classic aida cloth, pretty stiff, not so easy to hoop, but fine in Q Snaps. This 18 count is a different animal, it is soft and easy to work with right out of the tube, no washing needed. I sealed the edges with Fray Check and just started stitching. This would be ideal for stitching in hand, too. Highly recommend!
