SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 Bag of Fiber Fill
- 1 Paper lantern
- 1 Packet of 20 Mini warm white LED lights - battery operated
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- 3 Wooden Skewer sticks
- 1 Packet of foam adhesive sticker squares
DIRECTIONS:
- Open up the lantern and insert the 3 wooden skewer sticks to make the globe fully open and rigid.
- Attach the foam squares to the bottom of the light battery packet and then attach at the top of the open lantern.
- On the outside of the lantern, starting at the top, hot glue the strand of lights so that they go around the lantern. Use scissors and snip the lantern to insert the tip of each light. Hot glue them in place so they don’t fall out.
- Once you have attached all the lights, take wads of fiberfill and glue on the outside of the lantern. Make the groupings of fiberfill different sizes so the cloud feels realistic. Pull on some of the fibers to make it feel more airy.
JOANN HACKS:
- As you are gluing the fiberfill, try to layer it to give more depth to the cloud.
