Alright, just not my style
Seems good, I'm just spoiled by my clover hooks and the bamboo didn't glide as much as I would like for a beginner trying Tunisian crochet

Double-ended Tunisian crochet blows my mind
I bought my first Tunisian hook (back then they were called Afghan hooks) about 30 years ago, and was excitedly making panels for an afghan -- crocheted with cross-stitching. A lady saw me using it, and said, "Ah, but have you seen THIS?" and pulled a wooden double-ended hook from her bag. She told me her husband had whittled it for her. She tried to explain how to use it, but I needed to try it to be able to really understand. I've been curious ever since. FINALLY, I have tried it now!
I recommend learning the basics of Tunisian crochet before trying this tool. The double-ended hook is needed to do Tunisian crochet in the round, such as for hats. Unlike Tunisian worked in rows, you will not need a hook long enough to hold all of the stitches at once. You will work the first half of a several stitches with one end of the hook, then complete several stitches with the other end, using a second ball of yarn.
I've barely played with mine, so far, but look forward to experimenting and learning what this new magic wand can do.
