I recently bought these clover split ring markers for some knitting projects that I’m doing. They make counting off stitches so much easier. I would definitely recommend them to other knitters

Versatile
These markers are much easier to use than writing hash marks or numbers as each row is completed. I keep a bunch on the back of the work and every time I finish a row I move one to the front. And when they are used as a marker ON the needle, they can be repositioned -- not possible with circular markers. These are keepers indeed.

Lil Snaps
Eyes don't work so good any more.So my knitting and croche are a thing of the past.Too many rip outs.. So I'm trying the S Loom I bought at Joanns.I'm working on a small baby afgan.Using the basket weave pattern I needed markers..Didn't want to trust my memory or the pen. My very old (2 left)markers would not last this journey I was putting them through. They were bending fitting between the pegs on loom.AND I had to stop and move them, So I found these open snap markers...OMGoodness they have helped speed up this project..so much I'm ordering 2 more packages.Thanks for a great product!!!!
AND TRY THIS LOOM OUT !!!! It's another OMGosh moment.

Love these
These little markers are good for knitting too. I use them to mark mistakes so I know how far to unknit. They hold blocks or circles together to finish a row. They are hard plastic and don't bend out of shape. They slide in easily. Once in a while they fall out or snag, but their benefits far outweigh their faults.

Not so good
I bought these to keep track of rows when knitting. They slid in nicely and didn't snag the yarn, but they fell out a few times and I just can't trust them. I'm always checking to make sure they are still in place.
For my sanity, I bought the locking ones that clover sells.

I LOVE THESE
I use split rings to mark my crochet work. I finally lost the last of my old cheapies, so I spent a little more and bought these. TOTALLY WORTH IT! They stay in my work nicely, but they also slide in and out easily without snagging the yarn. I HIGHLY suggest spending a little extra on these. You won't regret it.

These Split-ring markers are excellent! I use them all the time for crochet. Made with a heavier material which makes them easier to insert and handle. Well worth the extra few cents!
