There is nothing “super grip” about these
I am so disappointed in these hoops. This was the only hoop I had in the size I needed for a project and it is IMPOSSIBLE to keep the fabric taught without slipping. I even tried wrapping the bottom. I would not recommend for embroidery projects. I stopped my project and went to buy another hoop.

The fabric just does not stay put on the hoop. You slip the fabric on and tighten the hoop, but it just keeps slipping out - the hoop doesn't have a tight grip on the material no matter how many times you tighten the hoop or pull the fabric taught. It just keeps slippin.

Wonderful product
I bought this to help me manage a 16"x20" project. While it works well, I would recommend this for a smaller project.

Plastic grip hoops, not just for embroidery.
i didnt use it the way it was intended but it worked out great for what i needed. i actually used them for a double dream catcher and it worked out great.

Hand Embroidering Beginner.
I want to start off by saying that I am a hand embroidering beginner so it could just be my skill level giving me so many issues. I genuinely do not like this hoop, it’s too big (obviously, it’s 10 inches diameter) BUT it wouldn’t stay securely, kept slipping out of place and bunching the fabric and interfacing together and creating these strange ripples. The 6 inch version is one that I also have and I much more so prefer it.
