Coffin Favor Boxes

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Cricut cutting machine
• Cricut LightGrip 12"x 12" mat
• Cricut scoring wheel (for Maker) (or scoring stylus)
• Cricut EasyPress Mini
• Cricut Everyday iron-on, white
• Diamond pattern black cardstock
• Gold cardstock
• Adhesive
• Gold brads

DIRECTIONS:

1. Go to this project on Cricut Design Space to make this-

3. This project makes letters that are approximately 3.6"x 2.6". You can customize your project size by clicking "Customize" button in the bottom right of the project screen. Hit "Make It" to make the project as is.


4. Cut:
5. Mat 1 - Place white iron-on onto the mat. 
6. TIP: Be sure to Mirror the image when using iron-on and place the shiny side (clear liner) down on the mat.
7. Mat 2 - Place black patterned cardstock onto the mat. You will need to use the scoring wheel with this cut as well.
8. Mat 3 - Place gold patterned cardstock onto the mat.


9. Assembly:
10. Use a weeder tool to remove the negative pieces of iron-on so just your design remains on the clear liner.
11. Apply the iron-on layers to the coffin top (the piece with the jagged edges) using a Cricut EasyPress Mini with our Heat Transfer Guide, linked below.


12. TIP: If you have never used iron-on material, check out the links below in the More Help section.


13. Fold along the score lines of the coffin. Glue along the tabs to create the 3D shape of the coffin.
14. Embellish with the gold crafting brads.
15. Glue the gold patterned cardstock to the inside of the top and bottom coffin pieces.
16. Fill with candy.
