Crafting together has mental health benefits for kids individually & benefits the parent/child relationship, as well. For a child, making a project like this one can be gratifying & build self-esteem. Working alongside their caregiver, they feel connected & appreciated, especially when they don’t feel pressured to do things exactly “right”. As they work together, they can have healthy conversations about anything – even those difficult topics that might otherwise be hard to discuss.

- Scissors
- 12"x 12" kraft Paper
- Construction Paper
- Printed Patterned Paper
- Colorful Tissue Paper
- Pom-poms
- Glue Sticks
- Clear Dry School Glue

- Print out the rainbow template provided and use scissors to cut out the shape. This pattern is now ready to use as a template—trace and cut a rainbow shape from the kraft paper. This is the base for your colorful crafted rainbow.
- Tear patterned paper and colorful tissue paper. Use the glue stick to assemble rainbow colors on the kraft paper rainbow shape.
- Add die-cut paper shapes and pompoms. Hang.
