No way couldn't even hold a hat for more than 2 we
After painting my office I wanted to hang some of my hats through my career and these lasted about a week healed the paint that I just had painted the whole room and now I have these unwanted marks on the wall where these command strips work

Waste of Money!!!!
Horrible!!!! I got the Damage-free Hanging holds and the the plastic part doesn’t even stick to the command strips, let alone anything else. I’ve followed directions (not like it’s hard) and nothing. I seriously can’t believe I wasted money on this! If I had t tried to make so many work, I could return it.

CRAPPIEST DESIGN FOR WHATEVER THESE ARE
These are in no way HOOKS. NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will hold ANYTHING on these so called hooks. You can use any shape, any material. and they hold NOTHING,.

TAPE DAMAGES PAINT AND DRYWALL
Used these to hang stockings for the holidays. Went with this brand specifically because of their motto... "do no harm". Unfortunately, A LOT of harm was done to our walls. Pulled the Christmas decorations down in prep for a New Year's Eve party in our brand new house so it was great having to explain what happened to everyone that asked why we have extremely noticeable holes on the walls of our new home.
I'm curious to see how Command's customer service will make this right for us...

How do I use this hook when I can't remove the cover? I tried 2 of them with no results. So you tell me how to remove the cover for the sticky spot. I have used these hooks before, but these I have trouble with

Adhesive tape does not stay fresh.
I bought this product last year and didn't use all the adhesive tape. This year the tape isn't sticky anymore so I have 9 hooks that can not be used.

Does hold 5 pounds
I used these in my classroom and the VERY light backpacks (no books only a lunch, a water bottle and a folder) kept breaking the hooks. The most frustrating part is the strip and bracket are fine but the hooks broke. Sadly, the hook can not be replaced. Please fix this so replacement hooks are available. Our planet doesn't need excess waste.

While advertised to remove cleanly and damage free, in tiny print on back of package it says 3M will not be responsible for any damage arising from this product whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential. My beautiful dining room now looks terrible. I used the hook to hold a 1 lb wreath over the holidays. I pulled the rubber thing out, but this still happened. I'm guessing the top part of the tape must have become permanently glued to the wall. All instructions were followed.
