Worked wellI followed the instructions on hanging a roughly 8 x 11 frame on the wall and it worked as expected!

Command hangerWorked as it should. Hung an 8 x 10 framed picture....about 5 lbs. this is the first time I’ve used something like this. Usually make a hole in the wall with a nail..this is better.

Great at first but not after a year.I have been using Command strips for the last 10 years in my art studio/gallery. Much to my disappointment when I moved in December, every strip took the paint right of the wall despite taking them off correctly. Also, the command strips for my twinkle lights have been letting loose after one year of hanging. I recently had brand new command strips which I was trying to use to hand 16x20 canvas paintings, they will not hold. I think these are quite expensive and too have them not work after having them for a year is not acceptable.

Use to be goodI have had great luck with these in the past. As of lately… the adhesive strip quality is god awful. I have 2 posters and each require 2 of these hangers, so weight is not an issue. Currently I have had the one poster fall off for 3rd time after only staying for about three days each time and now damaging my night stand. The second poster has just fallen the same night as the first but that one has been up for a couple weeks. The wall surface was properly prepped as instructed as well. The only difference I’ve noticed is the adhesive strips. The old extra ones I had from previous kits have actually stayed and stuck better. The new ones I had to get actually have a small bit at the top with no adhesive on the “wall side” what so ever but I figured there was two holding the poster with only a small bit of adhesive missing so it should be fine. Nope. Still keeps falling and the last one, because of the way it must have peeled off the wall, almost hit my girlfriend in the face while we were sleeping. (One is hung right above my bed head board). Done using these.

HandyAwesome product. We recently painted our walls and didn’t want to create nails holes. This holds the picture perfectly and leaves no mark when taken off.

Works greatI had used these on seven different pictures (relatively light... probably 2 lbs a piece) for over three years in my apartment before I moved. None ever fell off. I can only assume the bad reviews are from people who didn't apply them properly. Or, in the case of mlg85's review, he clearly did not use the proper procedure for removing them (which is to pull directly down on the adhesive strip).

Watch out![This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watch out as this hanger's adhesive only holds for about 1.5 years. I had a 1 lb picture hanging from this hook that I placed in early 2019. I was sitting at my computer desk and this picture frame crashed to the floor, breaking the frame's glass. The hook was still attached to the frame's hook with the adhesive strip still attached to the hook. Needless to say, I was not happy. Yes 1.5 years sounds like time longer than one might keep their pictures in one location, but not at my house. Makes me wonder how many others are going to fall off the wall.
