If you don't have one, get one!!
Love this thread holder! The bottom is weighted and both pieces of the tread holder screw into the base. Very satisfied with this product.

Fritz Cone Thread Holder

Handy Dritz cone thead holder
This cone thread holder is so remarkable. I had previous one that was all plastic housing and would break and I'd buy another one and it was plastic . But after. visting Joanns a very helpful employee direvted me to this improved model! I LOVE IT! This one from DRITZ is diecast metal- everything about it is sturdy it's the best thing for your cone threads and it doesn't fall over and lets feed easily. I would recommend this to anyone who sews a little or lot!

Awesome Cone Thread Holder
I had to make about 30 bowl cozies, and this just made it so much easier. The thread did not come brake or get stuck. I believe this will be my to go to when working on a project.
