- From the bottom edge measure up the long side edge 21" and make a mark on both side edges of the fabric.
- At the top measure over 6" from the fold line and make a mark on both top edges. This will become the top of the apron. Draw a curve line from the top mark on the apron to the mark at the 21". Cut away excess fabric.
- With the serger sew a four or three thread overlock stitch around the apron. If using the sewing machine sew a sewing machine overlock stitch around._x000B_Hem the top and bottom of apron, turning under the top and bottom edges 1" and sew. Turn under the curved edge 1/2" and stitch, leave the straight sides unhemmed for now.
- For the ties cut two canvas pieces 32" x 3 1/4". Fold in half lengthwise, press, then fold both long edges toward the center fold and press. Topstitch long edges and make a short hem at one end of each tie. For the neck strap out of canvas cut one 3 1/2"x 9" and one 3 1/2"x 18". Fold, press and topstitch in the same way as the ties and hem the 9" strap.
