Cotton Bench Cushion

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• 3 1/2yds Cotton Print for Cushion Top, Back and Sides
• 1yd Coordinating Fabric for Piping
• 8yds Piping Cord
• 2" Thick x 54" Foam for Cushion
• Basic Sewing Supplies

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut two 19"x 55" from print for top and bottom.
2. Cut five 3"x WOF for sides.
3. Cut 2" strips for piping to measure 290".
4. Sew strips together for piping.
5. Insert cording into strips and make piping.
6. Sew piping around the top and bottom cushion pieces.
7. Sew the 3" strips together for sides.
8. Using a 1/2" seam allowance stitch the sides to top of cushion starting at back and finishing by stitching a seam up the back of side edges, trimming length if needed.
9. Stitch bottom cushion to sides leaving the back open to insert cushion.
10. Turn and insert foam cushion.
11. Stitch opening closed.
