- Fuse WS of outer sides to corresponding stabilizer.
- Fuse WS of outer bottom circle to corresponding stabilizer. Place liner fabric WS to opposite side of stabilizer and baste 1/4" from edge. Mark quarters of circle with pins along the edges. Set aside.
- Lay handle fabric WSU. Place 1 1/4" W stabilizer on top, line up one long edge. Fold over fabric to cover both sides of stabilizer. Press to secure. Fold raw edge of fabric in 1/2", press. Fold over folded edge to opposite side of handle, press and sew close to both long sides. Mark a line 2" from each end of handle. Repeat.

Difficult to understand
I am not a beginner and I often look for new patterns for my 4H group to make that seem simple since they are mostly beginners. I was reading through this and putting myself in their place. I know they would not understand what the pattern is having them do. A beginner needs to have the written pattern simplified so they can understand what.is being said although the project may be simple.

Terrible Directions
I tried my hardest to figure this one out. I ended up throwing out the pattern and just creating my own bin. I have been sewing since the age of 6. So, I know my way around a great pattern and can come up with my own as well.
1. Cut out exterior fabric 20 1/4x 38.
2. Cut out lining 20 1/4x 38.
2a. Cut out 2 handles roughly 4 in. by 12 in. You can decide the width and length to meet your needs. I folded in half then opened up and folded each long edge to meet the fold line. Then folded that in half. Clip the strap. Sew 1/8 in. seam all the way around.
3. Cut out (2) 12 in. circles (one from lining and one from exterior fabric)
4. Cut out 20 1/4 x 38 fusible foam and iron onto the exterior fabric.
5. Cut out (2) 12 in. circle from fusible foam and iron one onto the exterior fabric 12 in. circle and the other to the 12 in. lining circle.
6. On the lining, sew 1/4 in. hem on the top edge.
7. Clip (I use Wonder clips to hold fabric) the lining 20 1/4 edges wrong sides together and sew 1/2 seam allowance. Be sure to leave at least 5 inch opening to turn out the fabric.
8. Use pins or clips (love the wonder clips) to pin the lining circle to the lining wrong sides together. Sew 1/2 in. seam allowance around the lining and the bottom circle.
9. On the exterior fabric, sew 1/4 in. hem around the top.
10. Place the wrong sides together on the exterior fabric and sew 1/2 in. seam allowance.
11. Clip the exterior circle to the exterior with wrong side together. Sew 1/2 in. seam allowance around the exterior fabric.
12. Turn the exterior fabric right side out.
12a. On each short end of the handles, measure 1/2 in. and mark. Place the line on the top edge and sew 1/4 in. and sew in place on both sides. Do the same with the other handle. (To place the handles on the exterior fabric, I folded the opening in 1/2 and placed each one at the halfway points.)
13. Place the exterior bin INSIDE the lining. Be sure right sides are together. (Be sure the handles are INSIDE the exterior and lining.) Pin/clip the 2 pieces together and sew 1/4 in. all the way around.
14. Pull the exterior through the opening you left in the lining.
15. Place the lining inside the exterior and sew 1/4 in seam on the lining opening.
16. Clip along the top edge being sure to press together to get a smooth finish. Sew 1/4 in. topstitching all the way around.
