- 5/8yd 54" Home Dec Fabric
- 18" Pillow Form
- Sewing Machine
- Basic Sewing Supplies
DIRECTIONS:
NOTE: 1/2" seam allowance.- Front: Cut one 19" square.
- Back: Cut two 13"x 19" back pieces.
- Finish one 19" edge of each back.
- Front RSU, place pillow backs rst overlapping finished edges at center.
- Stitch all four sides.
- Turn right side out and press.
JOANN HACKS:
- Use 5/8yd fleece to make a 19" square to reinforce pillow top for more body

I agree these instructions, like many on site, are incomplete. Especially for a beginner sewer. RST stands for "right sides together", meaning you place the 2 sides of the fabric you are sewing for the pillows with the "nice" sides (that will be what shows when done) facing each other (touching/against each other), and the wrong sides (which will be the inside of the pillow cover) up. This is how you will sew the the edges together so the seams are on the inside of the pillow cover (after you turn right side out). Hope this clarifies a little.

Incomplete instructions
As a beginner I find the instructions as written on the website incomplete. Why are 2 back pieces needed? What does the abbreviation “rst” mean? Etc…
