This product/description is very misleading. Based on the description I thought that there was a blade that actually cut the material. This is just a regular ruler.

Well made ruler
When I bought this ruler I wasn’t sure I needed another ruler in my stash. I’m glad I bought it. I love the size, bigger than standard ruler but easier to use than yard stick. I needed to cut foam board and this was perfect. Nonslip base worked great and kept ruler were I needed it. Finger guard was very helpful. I love everything about this ruler

Not a cutting ruler
Thought this ruler had a blade that allowed you to cut vinyl/ paper but it’s just a regular ruler. Has no cm measurements on it either which makes it hard to measure since my design space is by cm. The only thing I like about it is the rubber anti slip bottom- but for the price, I would not recommend.

The ruler is good but can't read the numbers.
The design of the ruler is good. My biggest complaint is the numbers. It's very difficult to read in any light. The numbers need to be a dark anodized contrasting color. Having the numbers read from left to right on one side and right to left on the opposite side makes no sense. It is also a little over 18\" long. Precision didn't seem to matter except for the straight edge.

love!
id been eyeballing this ruler but wasnt excited about the price...a sale came up so i ordered it. this ruler is absolutely worth paying full price for. i love that it has the grip on the bottom so it doesnt slide around. the selling point to me was the finger guard but that grip made it worth every penny.
