Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as good as Apple products Good with the hydraulic press but you need to have the pillow inserts to help with different projects. Some re-pressing does happen but overall it’s a good simple machine. With the project performed so far it has gotten the job done faster but there have been some adjustments and limitations that also have caused delays or not so good outcomes. Practicing good theologies and learning new techniques but overall it is better than the hand iron that was being used before to get the job done. The hand iron is still needed in some projects to finish up setting the presses but it’s the apple of machines that makes it seem easy to get through projects.

I know you have to plug it in to an actual wall outlet, but apparently I have to plug the usb into a real usb port in my laptop? Problem is, I have a Mac and there isn’t a usb port. I have to use an adapter, and it will not work. So I have an expensive machine that won’t work. I’m upset.

But I splurged and purchased the autopress while it was on sale. First I love how it looks and how easy it is use. I like that I can remove the pad and arrange my project. The fact that it automatically opens when it is done frees me up to prep my next project. It is so efficient and I know each project is going to have the right amount of pressure. The autopress has changed my crafting life!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 month and having issues. It was great the first day but everytime i have used it after that something has gone wrong. I keep getting an error on the display then it shuts off in the middle of a press. The last thing i pressed the temperature was set at 385 for 60 seconds and while it was pressing the temperature read 400 and it popped the lid up and was starting to cool down. I have only had it for about a month. Going to have to call Cricut after the holidays. I was not very happy that this all happened during Christmas. I had to get out my Easypress when there was a brand new machine juat sitting there.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won’t heat up I loved my autopress for a couple months and now at the end of finishing my Christmas presents it stopped heating up. Of course it’s Sunday and of course tomorrow is Christmas so I won’t be able to talk with anyone until Tuesday (understandable but still makes me grumpy today). I’ve unplugged it, waited for 2 minutes and turned it back on and it did not heat up. It shows me what it’s programmed to heat up (400) but never goes over 90 - The number it showed when I turned it on. Humbug! I bought it full price early 2023. I’ll recommend the product if it can be fixed or replaced.

It is a little on the heavy side so keep in one spot or on a cart. I love that it shuts off automatically and the outer case done not get hot like the easy presses. I would definitely recommend this auto press.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cricut Autopress it's a good heat press. I really like that auto timer, auto shut off features and the ability to lock the press closed so my kids can't play with it. It was easy to set up, between the picture guide in Design Space and instructions manual. This is VERY HEAVY equipment and may require two people to carry. You must register the timer box on Cricut Design Space, or it won't turn on. But after that you don't need to use Design Space to use the machine. I do love the fact that when the timers up, the machine automatically lifts so that I can other stuff without worrying that I might burn my project. The heat works regularly and is dependable. things that disappointed me: I didn't read the description well enough to know that the heat plate is only 12" by 15" that feature alone, I would have gotten a different press, but alas I was like oooo shiny auto press, not looking at the details, also I was hoping for the bottom plate to move. I have seen heat presses where the bottom plate comes out so that you can load your shirts/hoodies etc onto the plate, then move it back to press. this would help with alignment of designs without having to hunch under the top plate which is hot. Again, my fault for not reading the details well enough. Another thing to note is that if you do larger sized hoodies, not only will it be difficult to put the hoodie part squished up into the clam shell, but also the bottom plate is rounded on the edges. It was hard for me to press a large flat designs, i usually end up doing a couple of presses because of the rounded edges, like the corners of some of my sheets wouldn't press because it wasn't flat. it's a good press, really it is, just some minor dislikes, It's way much better than the easy press, because of the automatic pressure, no more standing putting all my weight into whatever I'm pressing and then being disappointed because I didn't have enough strength to push down enough. And I'll keep it for now. When I pay it off, I'll probably get a different one with the features that I wanted: bigger pressing plate, flat edges and a plate that pulls out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT IMPRESSED I was excited about this. Spent $900 and got rid of my old press then mid project 10 days later the machine died. Customer service says this is a problem they are unfamiliar with and they may have to replace the pod or the machine. It’s been 24 hours since my claim and I still haven’t heard from anyone. I should have known something this fancy was just a disaster waiting to happen.

I used infusible ink pens and a Cricut t-shirt for the first "test" project. Loved how it came out. Highly recommended for a beginner like myself or an experienced user!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not working on arrival I have to be honest. I was disappointed when my Autopress wouldn't power on when I took it out of the box. THE GOOD NEWS, however, is that Cricut is sending me a new one. I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with a Cricut trouble-shooter who talked me through some steps. As soon as she realized it wouldn't power on and that we were doing things right on our end, she said she was sending me a new machine. I'm waiting on that and can't wait to use it!

I was in the fence for over a year but finally gave in during activist’s last sale. I’m a happy customer! Gives a consistent even press on HTV and sublimation projects.
