_x000D_ "PEACE OUT" GRADUATION CAP: _x000D_

  1. Download the SVG file for the "PEACE OUT" design, and size it to your desired size in Cricut Design Space. 
  2. _x000D_
  3. Choose fabric that matches your graduation cap for the background of your design. Cut it out to the size of your grad cap top, plus a 1/2” size border around all sides. Set aside for now. 
  4. _x000D_
  5. Choose a contrasting color of fabric for the lettering design. Iron Heat 'N Bond to the back of fabric using the "rubbery" adhesive side on fabric. This will fuse the two materials together.

  7. Remove paper backing and place fabric adhesive side down onto green Cricut cutting mat. 
  8. _x000D_
  9. Set Cricut to Bonded Fabric setting and cut out image. 
  10. _x000D_
  11. Carefully remove from mat. 
  12. _x000D_
  13. Iron image onto the background fabric following the Heat 'N Bond instructions. Do not exceed the temperature recommended for the type of fabric you are using.

  15. Lay fabric right side down on a flat surface and wrap fabric around the edges of your cap, using hot glue to secure (start with one side and then attach the opposite side to make even) folding corners neatly to finish.

  17. Choose a ribbon that matches the color of the cap and attach to the raw edge of the fabric on the underside of the cap with hot glue.

  19. Carefully cut a small X at the button in the middle of the cap and carefully push fabric under the button to finish.

  1. Choose satin fabric and ribbon that matches your graduation cap.  
  2. _x000D_
  3. Download the SVG file for the "I think I am quite ready for another adventure" text and mountain design, and size it to your desired size in Cricut Design Space.

  5. Set Cricut to Iron-On setting with mirror image on. 
  6. _x000D_
  7. Cut and weed image. 
  8. _x000D_
  9. Heat your satin fabric with iron and place Iron-On image onto fabric. Press iron-on image for 10-15 seconds, lift and press down on another part of the image until all of the image is heated onto cap. Do not exceed the temperature recommended for the type of fabric you are using.

  11. Allow to cool and gently pull backing of Iron-On off of fabric.

  13. Lay fabric right side down on a flat surface and wrap fabric around the edges of your cap, using hot glue to secure (start with one side and then attach the opposite side to make even) folding corners neatly to finish.
