  • 12" x 18" Craft Felt, Black
  • Craft Felt, White
  • 12" x 12" Cricut® StandardGrip Machine Mat
  • 12" x 24" Cricut® FabricGrip Machine Mat
  • Rotary Blade
  • Cricut® EasyPress® or Cricut EasyPress Mini™
  • Cricut® EasyPress® Mat
  • Weeder
  • 1/4" x 12" Wooden Dowel
  • 1" Felt Ball
  • Ribbon
  • Hot Glue Gun & Glue Gun Sticks

DIRECTIONS:

    Size: Pennant is approximately 8 1/2" x 6 1/2"
  1. To alter the project, select Customize, then use the Edit panel to make changes.
  2. TIP: Check out the image set to customize for your student.
  3. To edit text, use the text tool to select the text you want to change, and type in your desired letters. To lock text in place, use Attach. Use the Offset tool to create the white felt background for the grade as needed.
  4. Cut your pieces.
  5. When you’re ready, select Make It, and mirror your design.

  7. Place iron-on material, shiny side (clear liner) down, on StandardGrip mat.
  8. Follow Design Space prompts to cut felt images using FabricGrip mat, changing blades as necessary. Then assemble.
  9. Use a Weeder Tool to remove unneeded iron-on pieces, leaving design on clear liner.
  10. Fold black felt shape in half so that the edges line up. Apply the white iron-on to the pennant and the black iron-on to the white felt cutout using Cricut EasyPress and Cricut EasyPress Mat. For time and temp settings, see below for link to Heat Transfer Guide.
  11. TIP: Never used iron-on? See links below in the More Help section.
  12. Glue the white grade cutout to the appropriate space on both sides of the pennant.
  13. Hot glue pennant along the middle fold line to the wooden dowel. Add ribbons as desired.
  14. Close the pennant shape along the edges with glue.
  15. Add the felt ball to the top of the pennant with glue.
