It is easy to handle, and the cord is soft and easily maneuvered (not stiff or cheap) while completing my projects. It lays down nicely while heating and I find no need for a stand since they usually have never worked well for me anyway. I use if for many crafts but usually to make paper flowers and the detail I needed in a glue gun was perfect. I use a heat safe pad because there is minimal of glue residue after use, but it is not from leaking when not in use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still gets lots of drips This glue gun is the best for advancing the glue sticks. I really like it, but it still does have a lot of stringing and dripping. I was hoping it would drip less than the other glue guns I have, but it doesn't. I wish Cricut would make a stand with a silicone drip pad for it. It is very easy to hold and with all the hot glue use that I do, my hand never gets tired. Despite the dripping and not having a stand, if I needed another glue gun, I would definitely get this one. I LOVE MY CRICUT!
