Crispy Pine Cone Candy Bark

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Light Cocoa Candy Melts
  • Green Candy Melts Candy
  • White Candy Melts Candy
  • Crisped Rice Cereal
  • 15-Inch Parchment Triangles, 100-Count
  • Recipe Right Nonstick Medium Cookie Sheet, 15 2/10"x 10 2/10"
  • Decorator Preferred 9" Angled Spatula
  • 12-Inch Disposable Decorating Bags, 12-Count

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Pipe pinecones. Melt 2 oz. Light Cocoa and 2 oz. Dark Green Candy Melts candy, separately, according to package directions. Prepare parchment bag with melted light cocoa candy; cut small hole in tip. Pipe pinecones on cookie pan. Prepare second parchment bag with melted green candy; cut small hole in tip. Pipe needles on pan, leaving space between groupings. Let set at room temperature, about 15 minutes. Reserve remaining melted cocoa and green candy for later step.
  2. Pipe white candy. Melt White candy according to package directions. Transfer to 2 to 3 decorating bags. Using melted white candy, pipe candy around pinecones and needles, tapping pan as needed to spread. Pipe remaining candy around pan to fill, tapping the pan to spread. Chill until set, but not chilled; about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Pipe light cocoa candy. Melt remaining Light Cocoa candy according to package directions. Add crispy rice cereal to melted candy. Mix to coat. Spread on top of White candy layer. Chill until completely set, about 20 minutes.
  4. Break up bark. Unmold bark; let cool to room temperature. Use remaining melted Light Cocoa and Dark Green candy to pipe additional pinecones and needles, if desired. Chill until set, about 10 minutes. Let come to room temperature. Break into pieces.
