- Finished height about 8" (20.5 cm)

- 15 dc + 7 rows = about 4" (10 cm).

DIRECTIONS:
NOTES:Cowl is made in one piece, worked back and forth in rows.
Short ends of piece are sewn together to make a ring.

Ch 31.
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook (3 skipped ch count as first dc) and in each ch across - you will have 29 dc in this row.
Row 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc, ch 1), turn, sk first 2 sts, dc in next st, *ch 1, sk next st, dc in next st; rep from * to last 2 sts, ch 1, sk next st, dc in top of beg ch-3 - 15 dc and 14 ch-1 sps.
Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), turn, sk first st, *dc in next ch-1 sp, dc in next dc; rep from * to beg ch-sp, dc in beg ch-sp, dc in 3rd ch of beg ch-4 - 29 dc.
Rep Rows 2 and 3 until almost all of yarn has been used, end with a Row 2 as the last row you work.
Fasten off.
FINISHING:
Sew short ends of piece together to make Cowl.
Weave in ends.
