I love to crochet and it has made it so much easier and a LOT LESS painful to make things for family and friends. So glad you had and I ordered 2 of them.

I remember when I first started crocheting in high school, and even then if I did it for too long (or wasn't careful about the tension in my hook-holding hand) it would cramp and get uncomfortable. We know it'll only get worse as we get older -- why not just start out with and ergonomic handle? Switching over from regular hooks *is* awkward for a bit, but you get used to it and your hand thanks you for it. This handle is very well priced, and has included foam inserts to support the different sizes of (boye) hooks. It's especially well priced when you consider the prices of ergonomic hooks (per hook).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like the concept, hate the texture I wanted this to work out, but there is a sticky plastic used for the grip and it's a horrible lint/hair/pet hair magnet. I tried crocheting with it for a day, but got fed up with how it magically would collect debris on the surface of the 'egg'. I would have given it 4 stars if it was easy to clean off with a wet napkin, but it just didn't cooperate. I began dreading using it and now I'm using a different set of ergonomic hooks. Like another reviewer said, there are seams and imperfections that could rub your hand if you're sensitive. For an ergonomic solution, it's very affordable and I liked the way it changed my grip, but the stickiness and the limited hook range killed it for me personally. However YMMV and you might really like it, so would be worth at least trying it out w a coupon

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well Fits in my hand perfectly. However I think I crochet tightly as the bottom of the hook broke through the bottom of this. So I put a bit of glue in the bottom and it kinda works. I do use the small rubber pieces on my hooks alone to give a bit more grip.
