Attaching fronts to back:
With right side facing, with gray yarn, join with a slip stitch in the ch 2 corner of the shorter panel edge. Sc in same corner space, continuing to sc across shorter edge of the panel, finishing with a sc in the ch 2 corner space. **Ch 14 for the neck, Sc in ch 2 corner space of the short edge of the other front panel, sc across and finish with a sc in the remaining ch 2 space.
**For a smaller neck, ch fewer stitches between the panels. For a larger neck ch a few more. This is an excellent time to "try it on." Experiment by placing the sweater across your shoulders.

Sc across front stitches, decreasing one stitch per front square by sc2tog. Cut yarn and fasten off. For a larger front section sc another row or 2. Weave in all ends.
