  • 6 sc and 7 rows = 4" [10 cm]

DIRECTIONS:

Blanket: With A, ch 105.
1st row: 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. *Ch 1. Skip next ch. 1 hdc in next ch. Rep from * to end of chain. (52 hdc and 51 ch-1 sps). Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. *1 splhdc in next st. Ch 1. Skip next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last st. 1 splhdc in last st. Turn.
Rep last row 4 times more. Break A.
With B, rep 2nd row 6 times. Break B.
With A, rep 2nd row 6 times. Break A. Rep last 12 rows for Stripe Pat 8 times more. (1/4 rows in total have been worked).
Fasten off. Weave in ends.

Vertical Surface Sl St Rows: Beg with A, working from bottom to top edge, surface sl st in each ch-1 sp of every row. Fasten off.
Create vertical stripes by alternating 3 sl st rows with A and 3 sl st rows with B across width of Blanket, as shown in photo.
