Difficult to understand directions
I have crocheted afghans and had no trouble with the directions. These directions are very confusing. I really like the look of the finished product. I would like the directions to be clarified.

Poorly laid out instructions
The layout of the instructions was confusing: the two lines describing the clusters needed a line space to set them off from the beginning of the project. Also, the pictures didn't well show the finished size. The cluster stitches seemed unnecessarily complicated. After doing two coasters with these instructions, I found a different coaster pattern online using double crochets only that worked easier and looked a lot nicer. Yarn was nice but pulling it from the center of the skein kept it coming out twisted, so I had to change to pulling it from outside of skein. Pattern as given, not so nice.

Explain Language
Could you please explain the abbreviations in the directions? This is a beginner project without directions at beginner level. Could you please include a video or diagrams?
