Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and Beautiful Very nice fabric. Recovered four contemporary counter height bar chairs, seats and (small) backs. Two yards was more than plenty to do this job. We knew from recent furniture shopping, Crypton is about as strong and sturdy as fabric comes. This has a slight velvety feel but very short nap…and it does have a directional nap and obvious grain so all pieces must be cut with that in mind. The color is a muted orange. Light makes it appear a bit lighter than the swatch above. Have just completed the project so cannot comment on ware, but according to what we’ve learned about Crypton, spills should bead up and not soak in and wear should be almost non-existent. The seats have rounded corners but we managed to gather the fabric and attach to the backing with minimal puckering showing…a little bit of stretch to the material. The chairs look brand new and the color and fabric are great!
