  • Creating Art with Cupixel:_x000D_

    1. Use Cupixel to add custom art to the cover of your card that recipients can remove from the card and enjoy.
      2. _x000D_
    2. Open the Cupixel App on your phone. On the Home Page, scroll down to the "Create Your Own" button.
      3. _x000D_
    3. Click the "Create Your Own" video. Click the "Start" button.
      4. _x000D_
    4. Select the "Photo" tab; then "Add Photo" to add a photo from your phone gallery.
      5. _x000D_
    5. Select "Next" from the upper right corner, then drag and zoom your photo until it looks the way you'd like it to look on your canvas; click the "Crop" button.

    6. Change the width, contours, details, and shadows until the linework looks easily readable, then click the "Done" button.

    7. Make sure your image is selected, and then select the "Trace" tab at the bottom of the screen.

    8. Line up your camera with your blank card insert; make sure the entire card is visible; it also helps if the canvas is on a contrasting surface.

    9. You will see the image contour projected onto the card insert on your phone. Watch through your phone screen as you trace the image onto your card insert.

    10. Work back into your contour line drawing and simplify the shapes while keeping some of the detail information.

    11. Color in your contour line drawing with coloring tools of your choosing. Once colored in, ink over details with a fine tip marker for more impact.

    1. For Cutting Machines:

    2. Upload Cupixel Card Frame SVG into machine software.
      3. _x000D_
    3. Change dashed lines to score. Solid lines should be cut lines.
      4. _x000D_
    4. Use machine to cut and score all pieces, following prompts for your cutting machine.

    5. Once cut, skip down to assembly.

    1. Download printable PDF templates by clicking on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.

    2. Print and trim each pattern piece.

    3. Cut pieces from Cardstock paper using the craft knife. Score along dashed lines.

    1. Fold the tabs on the frames back along the score line.

    2. Fold Card in half.

    3. Glue frame to the front of the card, applying glue to the tabs. 1 side should remain open for the art to be inserted.

    1. Cut and score envelope pattern by hand or using cutting machine. Cut envelope liner if desired.
      2. _x000D_
    2. Fold envelope along score lines. Glue bottom and side flaps together.
      3. _x000D_
    3. Glue liner into the envelope flap, lining up the creases of the flap fold.
