Curly Ribbon Wands

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Star pattern templates
• Scissors
• Tape
• Curling ribbon
• Wood dowels 3/16"x 12"
• Adhesive gems
• Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
• Decorative scrapbook paper
• Glitter scrapbook paper

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trace the large stars onto the decorative scrapbook paper, cut out 2.
2. Trace the small stars onto the glitter scrapbook paper, cut out 2.
3. Glue each smaller star into the middle of the larger star.
4. Wrap the curling ribbon around the wood dowel, hot glue to secure.
5. Cut 12 pieces of curling ribbon 2' long. Hot glue to the middle of the back of the first star.
6. Glue the ribbon covered dowel to the back of the first star.
7. Glue the second star onto the first star, keeping the ribbons and wand between them.
8. Curl a few of the hanging ribbons by running scissors down the length of the ribbon.
9. Trim the ribbons as needed.
