Cri cut Maker- Laptop or computer
Cri cut chip boardCri cut strong grip mat- Masking tape
- Assorted Colors of
Cri cut vinyl - Wood glue
- Brown wood stain or brown paint
- Paint brush
- Wood sign
DIRECTIONS:
- Using brown stain, stain your wood board and set aside. You can also stain your wood sign by watering down brown acrylic paint. Let dry
completely . - Open Design Space.
- Insert your text. (example: MRS. JACKSON)
- Measure your wood sign working area. This sign is 12"x 12".
- Insert
circle and resize 12"x 12" and sendcircle behind the text, this will help you size your name according to the wood sign size. - Change text to
Karley font name. - Unlock text sizing by selecting the lock sizing icon attached to the text.
- Resize text MRS. to
approximately 5"x 4" and JACKSON toapproximately 7.8"x 4.4". - Change MRS. text
color to white and JACKSON to assortedcolor s. - Before you
cut , attach chip board to your strong grip mat by taping around the sides of chipboard to your mat with masking tape. - Cut with your
Cri cut Maker, select material chipboard, and follow on-screen instructions. - Change material to vinyl and
cut MRS. JACKSON out of vinyl. - Weed vinyl and place over
cut wood letters. - Attach wood letters to your stained wood sign using wood glue adhesive.
- Let
completely dry and enjoy!
JOANN HACKS:
- Stain wood sign first. Watered down paint can be used for a stain.
- When
cut ting out wood letters, move or space out your letters farther apart from each other so the wood doesn’t crack or break.
