SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- 1 Sheet of white crepe paper
- 1 Sheet of dark bright pink crepe paper
- 1 Sheet of dark olive green crepe paper
- 1 Sheet of peach crepe paper
- 1 Package of floral wire
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun and glue sticks
- Cricut® machine
DIRECTIONS:
- Download into your Design Space: #MAFADA11.
- In Design space, decide how big you want the flowers to be. 7" for the green leaves are a nice standard sized flower.
- Cut out each shape with the correct crepe paper.
- With your hot glue gun, overlap the white petals and glue in the center. You will use three petals, making a total of 6. Stretch out the petals to make them feel like real flowers.
- Take one stem of floral wire and make a coil on one end, about the size of a large blueberry. Bend it sideways.
- Glue the white flower onto the coiled floral wire.
- Slide the green base onto the floral wire and push it up to cover the coil.
- Glue two green leaves onto the floral stem. Stretch out the leaves to look natural.
- Roll the center piece of the flower and glue the edges to make a tube.
- Glue the peach or pink tube onto the center of the flower.
- Gather the bright pink center crepe into a bunch at the base. Place a small dab of glue on the bunch and insert into the center tube on the flower.
JOANN HACKS:
- Add additional pieces of crepe into the tube to make it appear fuller and more natural.
