Daily Engraved Affirmations

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Acrylic Bases
  • StrongGrip Machine Mat, 12"x 12"
  • Light Stand
  • Masking Tape
  • Stiff Brush
  • Engraving Tip + QuickSwap Housing

DIRECTIONS:

    NOTE:Acrylic Bases are 3 1/2"x 3 1/2".
    This project uses the Engraving Tip to engrave on pre-cut acrylic shapes.

    PREPARATION
    1. To align blanks with the area to be engraved, use Preview panel to move the circles to the same mat as the engraving art.
    2. Arrange each circle so that the edges touch the lines at the same places on the mat preview screen as on the physical mat.
    3. Click on each circle to hide each one without moving the art.
    4. Place the blanks on the mat at exactly the same position that the circles were in the preview panel.
    CUT
    1. Tape each of the blanks in place along the edges of each blank.
    2. Use the Engraving Tool and correct cut setting, and follow the prompts to engrave the blanks with your design.
    ASSEMBLE
    1. Use a stiff brush to gently remove debris from each blank.
    2. Select a blank in the lit base for your daily affirmation.
