These copper beads are plastic NOT metal beads
The package lists these beads as plastic and it is also listed in the description that these antique colored copper beads are plastic. But from the pictures, they do look like metal so it is easy to be fooled. My daughter picked these beads out because she liked how they looked and for the large bead hole size. She made key chains, braclets and a wristlet keychain with the beads. Even though they are plastic, they are a great color, have nice details and a variety of shapes and styles.

Plastic, plastic, plastic! Definitely not in the description but when you pick up package says Plastic Beads! Why not on website? Pretty for gift wrapping but Definitely not metal jewelry making.

Plastic, I think
I have some of these and, while they are pretty, they seem to be plastic, not metal. JoAnn is out of them now, but it doesn't look like it says this in the description. I mean, you can use them for a nice effect, but if you are selling your jewelry and you want it to be valuable, you would not want to use these beads. However, they are light in weight, so they would be for fun large earrings that would not weigh a lot.
