Beginner 1-2 Hours

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Three 18" wire floral wreaths
  • Spool medium weight floral wire
  • Deco Mesh: rainbow colors, 2 large spools each
  • Deco Mesh: Glitter White, 2 large spools each
  • Hot glue gun/glue sticks
  • Wire cutters
  • Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Take each wire wreath and wrap the wreath with the white glitter deco mesh to cover the wire.
  2. Cut strips of the white glitter deco mesh to be 4" longer than the width to wrap around the edges. Lay the wreaths face down. Hot glue the edges to the back side of the wire wreaths on each hoop. Glue loosely to allow room to “fill the cloud".
  3. Hot glue the edges to the back side of the wire wreaths on each hoop. You will need to overlap about three strips of the deco mesh on the front of the wreath.
  4. Flip the wreaths over and stuff extra strips into the wreath to give the clouds dimension. Puff up in the middle of the wreath to form a cloud.
  5. Use hot glue to tack the mesh on the side of the wreaths to keep it in place.
  6. Use the floral wire and wire cutters to attach the three wreaths together.
  7. With the covered wreath lying face down, starting from the left side lay the first roll of color red at the bottom of the wreath and hot glue the edge to the bottom of the left cloud.
  8. Continue to hot glue the colors across the bottom of the clouds in the order of the rainbow.
  9. Flip the attached three wreaths over with the rainbow attached.

JOANN Hacks:

  • Always work on a level flat surface.
  • Lay out the rolls of the different colors on the back of the wreaths before you glue them in place to figure out your spacing.
