Rated 5 out of 5 by from Here’s what you need to know!! This product is great (for most things) Might be a longish read, but it may answer questions! Works great to pour on the inside of clear Christmas bulbs to adhere glitter. It really holds onto the chunky glitter (and fine too!) and after it dries, it’s there. You can drop your ornaments etc and the glitter won’t chip off the inside! This is my main use. If you use arteza paint pens, this will not smear. It smears basic paint pens and also posca. If you’re looking for a varnish… I’d recommend decoart triple thick varnish. Something changed in the duraclear and it cracks paint now / smears some paint markers

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smears the ink on black outlining pens on rocks I was so hopeful this would be a solution for me as an alternative to spray sealer for my painted rocks. My apartment garage is a block away and too far for me to walk plus too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer for spray sealer. Fortunately I tried this on a small rock that I didn't really care about. I watched a video about how to apply. Poured a little bit on in the middle of the rock and was using a foam brush to spread it. The instant it touched one of the black outlines on my design it smeared it. I was using an Artistro paint pen (not a Sharpie.) I immediately stopped trying to spread it out. I let it dry and was able to repaint the areas that smeared and will seal with spray later. Will never use this again. Very disappointing.
