A Wonderful, Durable Paint
I bought this on a whim several years ago because the color was so pretty. I've used it on multiple furniture and craft projects, but the most impressive painted piece was when I used it to paint the inside of a bathroom trashcan I made for my SIL. She was wanting gold-leafing but I knew that wouldn't be durable enough so used this, not expecting it to look exactly like gold-leaf (it did). It painted on easily and only took 2 1/2 coats to get complete coverage over a dark wood (this was a worn-out but expensive wood trashcan I completely refinished and added raised details to.) There are no brushstrokes at all. Best of all, three years later, despite hard use without liners, there is absolutely no wear, chipping, peeling, or appearance of age. I am beyond impressed with how it's held up. I also used it to paint the raised details I added to the exterior of the trashcan. These too show no chipping or wear and have held up to being picked up, kicked, and knocked around as the trashcan sits on the floor.

True Metallic GOLD color!
Sponged this color on to a wall that was painted white to give extra color/texture to wall. Turned out GREAT!

Great Finish!
I bought this metallic paint and updated the look of my frame throughout my home! I also painted art deco hearts and everything looks so new and complimentary to the decor surrounding the pieces. I have also used their gold accent on tables and chairs! Love these products-DecoArt Elegant Finish Metallic Paint!

This not only saved me money it was fun.
I love this product. It is easy to use and does a beautiful job. We recently moved from a home with warm color walls to a home with cool colored walls. Many of my decorative items were antique gold. I have been able to apply a light coat of the silver paint and change them so they would work in our new home. Not only did it save me money but it was so much fun!!! Thank you. The key is start with a light coat and build up where needed. It dries very quickly so keep a paper towel handy to blot if you just want a hint of silver. So fun!!!

Perfect metallic finish!
I decided to stripe our small mudroom and wanted to add a metallic stripe to the wall but could not find a small container at the local hardware store. I came across the DecorArt Elegant Finish on Joann.com and decided to purchase it. The size container was perfect and I loved the touch of shimmer that it added to the walls!
