Works great as a touch up paint for KitchenAid Contour Silver (need to add a tiny speck of black)
Had a tiny chip in my KitchenAid mixer in Contour Silver. This Extreme Sheen Silver works great. It might be a better match for the lighter Chrome Metallic color in KitchenAid's lineup, but I simply added a tiny speck (just enough to darken it a bit) to match my Contour Silver finish. I used a toothpick to first put in a dab of the DecoArt Extreme Sheen Silver into the chip, noticed the color was a bit too light, then put the tiniest speck of black on another toothpick and dabbed it into the newly painted chip area to slowly mix in the black until the color matched the rest of the mixer. I think it came out pretty good for the first try. I haven't even tried to level it down yet with some paint thinner or rubbing alcohol.

Check the bottle caps before shipping
This is great paint but shipping it is fraught with problems. 2 of the bottles had loose caps and the paint had seeped onto the rest of the bottles. Clean up time!

Beautiful Sheen
I bought the brass color to paint a sculpture and was very impressed with the outcome. I wasn't expecting such an intense shine, but was pleasantly surprised. The color shows best painted over a similar base coat. Over other colors, it will take a few more coats, but is just as effective.

glitter water
It's basically very fine glitter water. It only looks ok at best on paper. If you were going to use it to paint minitures I would stay far away from this product.
