SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Preferred pie filling
  • Favorite pie crust
  • Mini pie pans
  • Various cookie cutters
  • Rolling pin
  • Optional: decorative pie crust cutters

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Line your pie pans with a thin layer of pie crust for the base.
  2. Add in your pie filling to the edge of your pie tin.
  3. Cutting pie crust into thin strips allows you to weave them together for a decorative effect.
  4. You could also use cookie cutters to accent your pies.

JOANN Hacks:

  • When baking, cover the edge of your pie with aluminum foil to keep the edge from cooking too fast and burning.
