SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Piecrust
  • Chicken Pot Pie Filling
  • Cast Iron Skillet
  • Pie Crust Molds
  • Egg
  • Pastry Brush

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 400. Follow Chicken potpie filling recipe and place into cast iron skillet.
  2. Rollout crust on parchment paper large enough to cover skillet.
  3. Mix egg in bowl to create an egg wash.
  4. Create a pattern in the center of your dough. Use excess dough and cookie presses to make fun fall shapes and edges onto pie. Attach pieces with egg wash before baking then lightly cover pie with egg wash.
  5. Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
