Denim Wallhanging 1

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1 yd background fabric
  • 1/4 yd of 3 contrasting shades of denim
  • 1 yd iron-on interfacing
  • 1 yd heat & bond
  • 1 yd stiff interfacing
  • 2 wood slats
  • Iron

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Iron the heat and bond to the 3 denim fabrics.
  2. Cut ten of the pattern from the 3 fabrics.
  3. To print the pattern, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
  4. Cut the background Fabric 23"x 32".
  5. Iron the interfacing to back of background.
  6. Arrange the denim on front following the finished wall hanging.
  7. Iron the pieces on to background.
  8. Quilt as desired.
  9. Wrap the finished piece around the stiff interfacing and iron.
  10. Place the finished wall hanging between the two slats and glue.

  • 1 yd background fabric
  • 1/4 yd of 3 contrasting shades of denim
  • 1 yd iron-on interfacing
  • 1 yd heat & bond
  • 1 yd stiff interfacing
  • 2 wood slats

  2. Cut two pattern #1 triangles from dark denim.
  3. To print the pattern, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).
  4. Cut four #1 triangles from medium denim.
  5. Cut four #2 triangles and two #3 pattern from light denim.
  6. Cut the background fabric 23"x 32".
  7. Iron the interfacing to back of background.
  8. Arrange the denim on front following the picture.
  9. Iron the pieces on to background.
  10. Quilt as desired.
  11. Wrap the finished piece around the stiff interfacing and iron.
  12. Place the finished wall hanging between the two slats and glue.
