Bead Buddy Design Save 'N Go is my friend
I purchased the Bead Buddy Design Save 'N Go from JoAnn's Fabrics as I had seen a similar product advertised by beading experts, but it was completely out of my price range. I have been so happy with this product, that I've purchased 2 more. First, the velour foundation holds the beads in place so that they do not spill and jump all over. The cover holds tight when closed so that my project doesn't leak or spill as I carry the Bead Buddy from one place to another. The smooth surface on the outside of the case makes it easy to put in or take out of a bag without catching. The size of the case is perfect as it is big enough for necklace and bracelet designs. It does come with a light cardboard template which I do not use, but some may find it handy to have. The reason I've purchased 3 Bead Buddies is because I always have several projects going at the same time. Bead Buddy is my friend and can be your friend too.

Would not recommend
The hinges on the case do not stay connected to case when opening and closing very well. The layout guide enclosed is nothing but a piece if paper and not usable. You can't layout beads that slide under the paper negating the purpose of being able to lay them out in any pattern. I like the size of the case although it needs to have more height if leaving anything in the case like a tool, beads etc. Unfortunately, I am returning this as I have and use much better cases like this that have permanent felt layout guides and height. This was to be a gift.

very happy with this and keeps me organized! When opening all you have to do is be sure to align the hinges when opening to avoid any accidents...I need a larger one ! I am looking for 36 x 24 ? Do you make them? Thank you!

It Does it's job...
I bought the Desig Save N Go a little over a month ago... I thought it would be perfect considering I am usually running around chasing little ones or have to go somewhere in a hurry... While I am not completely satisfied, I am not unsatisfied either... The construction of the hinges could be a little better. Sometimes when going to open, the hinges don't land in the intended spot creating a lock almost which causes the other side of board to jolt which could cause your beads to get mixed up or even worse end up all over your working area. The foam around the edges also creates a black hole-especially for needles and seed beads should they get close enough to the edge. However, if I take my time when opening the save n go and place beads away from the edges then there is no problem...
I love how portable it is and how durable the snap locks are . =)

Great for home or travel!
Now have 3! Great for travel. But better for home! All beaders know that we each have more than one project going at a time, and this helps keep them safe from dreaded falls & flips!
