This specialty lightpad has been adapted for the purpose of making dotting charts easier to see. So regardless of available light, your dotz®lite will always improve the visibility of your project and allow you to enjoy the art of diamond dotz®. Your dotz®lite can also be used to trace images and for use in various art and craft activities. construction is high quality acrylic and led light technology
- steps for easy use: place your lightpad on a flat desktop, & connect the power supply. Once you boot your lightpad up, choose the brightness level that suits you most.
- Choose a flat and stable surface to work on. place your fabric piece over the illuminated surface and start dotting.
- 3 step levels of dimming powered by micro usb - 5 volts

Good product
Works well… my only issue is the power button is very sensitive. I would accidentally touch the button through the painting I am working on and shut it off. Not a deal breaker, but can get annoying.

Love this light pad!
I love this light pad! It is thin so easier to transport, and pieces larger than the light area can be easily moved around to where I'm working on a project. I use an extra battery charger to make it more portable and can use it without an outlet around. It also has 3 levels of lighting, which is nice.

Amazing! Diamond Dotz Lite Pad

Makes Diamond Painting much easier!
This has made all the difference when doing my diamond painting. It makes it so much easier to see. Other reviews mentioned an issue with the location of the power button. It would be better some where else but that is such a minor issue for me. I was concerned how ergonomic i would be depending on how thick it was. Not a problem at all. It is very thin and super light wait. I use the d/c plug from my cell phone to leave it plugged in while working on my project. It will also make any tracing projects you may have an absolute breeze. So happy I got this.

good, but a big design flaw
I bought one of these because my old method was to balance my phone (plugged in so the battery wouldn't die) on a box and moved it as I went. For the HUGE FLAW!!! first: The cover that has the light switch is a piece of what seems to be flexible plastic that has been soft-glued onto the rest of the board. The quality check tag had worked its way under that in shipping and I nearly ripped it apart trying to get it out. Sensitive wiring components should NOT be hidden behind a flimsy piece of plastic that can be pulled off so easily. I'm definitely glad I bought this with one of the high percent coupons that routinely gets offered because I absolutely think that makes it not at all worth the price paid.
For the average: It is lightweight enough that while I hate the clutter it'll cause, I'm going to need to keep the box it came in. You get what you pay for, sure, but it'd be nice if it had some sort of more solid frame to it so it'd be a bit more difficult to break.
For the good: Funny enough it is also part of the average, but it is extremely lightweight. Manipulating it as I'm sure I'll need to will be no hassle at all and it has a hard plastic back (that I'm sure I'll be hating after writing this) that allows it to slide along easily on my desk. The light is also nice and bright. I was concerned I'd have issues seeing through it, but it looks like there'll be no issues with that at any point.

Awesome gift to accompany other Diamond Dotz projects or supplies!
Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 15 year old daughter, along with a Diamond Dotz kit. She had never seen these before (and neither had I,) but she loves it! This lighted pad helps tremendously while working with those tiny little Diamond Dotz! It also helps to have a flat surface to work on, and she can easily take it with her wherever she goes! Easily fits into a standard size backpack. I highly recommend this product if you plan on doing any type of Diamond Dotz projects!
