Rated 2 out of 5 by from A little on the thin side I bought this for the inner cloth for face mask and for that it will work but this fabric has a shine to its threads and the pattern is nearly smooth not textured like good diaper cloth. It had to be doubled to equal the thickness of the diaper fabric I had on hand. It overall pattern is well defined and looks nice and the shine is visually appealing. I included a picture, the fabric on the left is the cloth I had on hand and the cloth on the right is what I got from joanns today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pick up at store Material was exactly what I needed. I arranged to pick it up at the store. It was hassle free

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not exactly as I was expecting Not what I was expecting from my personal experience with using diapers - decades ago. This feels less absorbent and has a smooth finish. I will use it for other projects and it will be just fine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not the type of material for thick diapers I thought it was the material that is used for making cloth diapers & it wasn't...it was thin like chhese cloth

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Table cloth more likely Purchased on line. Had to return it. It doesn’t seem to absorb water at all. Don’t know why it’s called diaper cloth (more like a table cloth). Bought white cotton flannel at the store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Diaper utility cloth The fabric is extremely thin, which I wasn’t expecting. I intended to use it for burp cloths, but it’s not suitable for that purpose. I don’t know what I’m going to use it for now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handkerchief I buy this fabric to make handkerchiefs for my husband. It's soft and absorbent and I can get 4, 18 inch square cuts from a yard. I serge around the edges and tuck the tail in the run. They last a long time, but I make new ones periodically as he tends to use them as a shop rag, and being white they do stain easily. Love this fabric!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Diaper flannel Bought the diaper flannel for diapers good material was a little disappointed in how long it took to get the material.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beginner sewing project I washed & dried this fabric already. Keep in mind that the fabric does fray a little when you put it in the washer/dryer as is. I stuck it in a pillow case that I safety-pinned shut so that the fabric would have a gentle tossing. It shrank around 2 inches at the width. I haven't measured the length because I bought a lot and started cutting already. We will be using it to make flat diapers as a beginner project and to test the shrinkage over time. I'm working my way up to cloth diapers with PLU, plastic snaps, and elastic. Though not as gentle as the cozy flannel from Joann's, I think this birdseye will hold up nicely and will be quite absorbent. Rating 4 since I'm a beginner and my knowledge of fabrics is close to nil, but I think this fabric is great!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought to make fitted diapers. Used on the inner layer to be against skin. They came out beautifully, and the gift recipient loves them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stuff! I bought this to use as a backing for napkins. It's so soft and absorbent. I love how the napkins turned. I'm also going to be making reusable "paper" towels. This fabric is perfect. It's thin and absorbent. Joanns is also the only place I've found that has it in store.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great, multipurpose fabric Also called "birds eye cotton". Great for diaper inserts and burp clothes. I also use it for backing flannel kitchen towels. A bit pricey so I use a coupon or wait until its on sale. It will shrink so wash it first. Also sew the edges (I use a zig-zag stitch) before washing so you don't end up with a knotted mess in your washing machine. The reason I give it 4 stars, not 5, is because every time I buy this it is cut crooked. I waste several inches trying to get the edge straightened out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good basic cloth I have made flat diapers for my baby out of this cloth. It is soft and quiet absorbent ( after a few washes) the only disappointment is - it shrinks a lot length wise and not so much width wise. Good for diapers, washcloths, burp cloths and just random mess pick ups. Though a bit pricey for a basic cotton cloth.
