Die Cut Layering Card

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Hero Arts Fancy Dies Leaves and Vines
• Hero Arts Luggage Tag Alphabet Dies
• Hero Arts Thanks Stamp & Cut
• Hero Arts Acrylic Stamping Block
• Blue Cardstock
• Light Green Cardstock
• Dark Green Cardstock
• Die Cutting Machine
• Paper Trimmer
• Foam Adhesive
• Liquid Adhesive

DIRECTIONS:

1. Trim a piece of blue cardstock to 4 1/4"x 11" and fold in half to create a top-folding card base.
2. Die cut the Leaves and Vines die from light green and dark green cardstock. Use liquid adhesive to adhere light green diecut on top of dark green diecut, slightly offset, so the bottom layer appears as a shadow.
3. Use a paper trimmer to trim out a 1" section of Leaves and Vines die. Adhere two sections to the blue card base, leaving the 1" gap for the letter dies.
4. Use the Luggage Tag Alphabet dies to diecut the word "thanks" three times. Adhere all three layers of each letter together with liquid adhesive.
5. Adhere diecut letters to the card base with liquid adhesive.
6. Stamp the "I appreciate all that you do" message with black ink on a strip of blue cardstock.
7. Adhere message strip to card with foam adhesive.

JOANN HACKS:

• For even more interest, add a third diecut layer of the Leaves and Vines die. A white white or black layer would really make the die pop off the card.
