Dinosaur Mask Costume

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Olive green mask
• Sheet of each colored felt: natural, olive green, bright green
• Bright green T-shirt
• Roll of olive green iron-on vinyl
• Brown headband
• Hot glue gun/glue gun sticks
• Cricut® machine
• Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut two shapes out of the natural felt in the shape of a horn.
2. Hot glue it together but at the back of the horn open it and glue it to the mask making the horn point forward.
3. Using your Cricut, find a typeface that is bold and lay out the word DINO MITE with a frame box around it. Cut it out of the olive green iron-on and then iron on your green T-shirt.
4. For the headband, use the olive green felt and cut out the shape of the the dinosaur head. With the bright green felt, cut out accents to highlight the edges of the headpiece. From the natural felt, cut two horns. Using the glue gun, attach the little pieces of felt onto the big head piece.
5. Hot glue the big piece to the top of the headband to stand straight up.
