DIRECTIONS:
  1. Measure yarn by doubling the circumference of yoga mat.

  3. Cut and measure 60 pieces of yarn 200" long.
  4. Take two pieces of yarn and fold in half.
  5. Attach using larks head knots to the thicker yarn, continue until you have all pieces attached to the thicker rope.
  6. Attach two sets of yarn together using a square knot and continue around the yoga mat.
  7. Create rows as desired, while alternating to create a net like pattern.
  8. To create an open diamond pattern, decide the top of the diamond shape with a knot.
  9. Add knots to the left and right sides leaving unknotted yarn in the center of the diamond.
  10. Once wide enough, reverse the direction with the knots until they come back together.
  11. Create columns of square knots around the yoga mat.
  12. Repeat patterns as desired.
  13. To finish the bottom, pull tightly at the knots to make them closer together.
  14. Tie a piece around all the strings to finish and bundle them together.
  15. Add yarn for fringe and cut to desired length.
  16. Follow preparation instructions on Rit Dye bottle for desired color.
  17. Wet down the yarn to make the dye stay better.
  18. Dip it in as far as you'd like and pull it out after a couple of seconds.
  19. Dip it not as far as last time to create ombre coloring.
  20. Repeat until the bottom is the darkest color.
