DIRECTIONS:
- Type out your desired school name and/or mascot, resize text to fit inside the smaller paw print, and group the text and paw print to cut together.
- Place EasyPSV on the cutting mat with the liner side down, load mat into the Silhouette Cameo, cut material, and remove from cutting mat. Repeat this step with each color.
- Use scissors to cut the design from each EasyPSV material to save any excess. Use your EasyWeeder tool to remove negative space and cavities from your design. You'll be left with the design on the paper backing.
- Cut a piece of EasyPSV Application Tape slightly larger than the size of your cut pieces of EasyPSV.
- Peel away backing from tape and place adhesive side down over the smaller paw print with text. Burnish the vinyl until it is adhered to the Application Tape.
- Peel away the paper lining from the EasyPSV ensuring that the design is sticking to the tape.
- Place a piece of parchment paper over the larger paw print, leaving just an edge of EasyPSV exposed.
- Looking through the transparent paper, align the small paw print until you have the desired the placement and burnish the exposed edge.
- Remove the parchment paper and roll the rest of the design down, burnishing as you go.
- Peel away the paper lining from the EasyPSV ensuring that both colors are sticking to the tape.
- Clean the glass window with isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth.
- Take the Application Tape with EasyPSV and place it on the clean area. Burnish vinyl once again so that it adheres, then gently remove the Application Tape and enjoy.
JOANN HACKS:
- Visit the Siser® website for a complete list of cut settings for all Siser EasyPSV.
- Always clean the surface prior to applying EasyPSV. Dirt and oils can prevent the vinyl from adhering properly and can can cause bumps and bubbles below the surface.
- If you're making a one-color decal, white is the perfect color choice because it contrasts well against the dark windows.
