• Large-Eyed Blunt Needle
• Crochet Hook: Size J-10
• Fiberfill Stuffing

GAUGE:
10 sc + 9 rows = about 4"

STITCH EXPLANATIONS:
Bobble (4 double crochet cluster)
Yarn over, insert hook in indicated st & pull up a loop, yarn over & draw through 2 loops on hook (2 loops on hook), (yarn over, insert hook in same st & pull up a loop, yarn over & draw through 2 loops on hook) 3 times, yarn over & draw through all 5 loops on hook.
sc2tog (sc 2 sts together) (Insert hook in next st & pull up a loop) twice, yarn over & draw through all 3 loops on hook - 1 st decreased.

NOTES:
Pillow is made from 8 pieces: 2 center circles & 6 petals.
All pieces are worked in joined & turned rnds.
Petals are stuffed and sewn to center circles.
Center circles are stuffed before sewing the last petal in place.

DIRECTIONS:

FRONT CENTER CIRCLE:
With A and leaving a long beg tail for sewing center ring closed, ch 4; sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, work 12 sc in ring; join with sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2 (Bobble Rnd): Ch 1, turn, * sc in next st, bobble in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - you will have 6 bobbles & 6 sc in this rnd.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, turn, 2 sc in each st around; join with sl st in first sc - 24 sc.
Rnd 4: Rep Rnd 2 - 12 bobbles & 12 sc.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next st; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 36 sc.
Rnd 6: Rep Rnd 2 - 18 bobbles & 18 sc.
Rnd 7: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 48 sc.
Fasten off.
If needed, push bobbles to RS; use beg tail to sew center ring closed.

BACK CENTER CIRCLE:
With A, leaving a long beg tail for sewing center ring closed, ch 4; sl st in first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, work 12 sc in ring; join with sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st around; join with sl st in first sc.

PETALS:
Make 6.
With B, leaving a long beg tail for sewing base of petal closed, ch 16; sl st in first ch to form a ring, taking care not to twist ch.
Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, work 16 sc in ring; join with sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 7 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 18 sc.
Rnd 3: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 8 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 20 sc.
Rnd 4: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 9 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 22 sc.
Rnd 5: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 10 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 24 sc.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, turn, * 2 sc in next st, sc in next 11 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 26 sc.
Rnds 7 & 8: Ch 1, turn, sc in each st around; join with sl st in first sc.
Rnd 9: Ch 1, turn, * sc2tog, sc in next 11 sts; rep from * around; join with sl st in first sc - 24 sc.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail.
Thread ending tail through top of sts of last rnd & pull to close opening at top of petal.
Knot securely.

FINISHING:
Stuff petals with equal amounts of fiberfill.
Hold edges of first rnd of petal together, matching 8 sts along each of 2 edges.
With beg tail of petal, working through both thicknesses, sew edges together, sewing through each of the 8 sts.
Rep for all 6 petals.
Hold front & back center circles with WS together & sts matching.
Place base of one petal between the center circles matching 8 sts of seamed end of petal with 8 sts of last rnd of front & back.
With a long strand of A & sewing through all layers of the 8 matching sts, sew with straight sts until petal is securely sewn to centers.
Rep to sew a total 5 petals to centers, sewing each petal to the next 8 sts of centers.
Stuff center, then sew last petal in place.
Weave in ends.
