SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • Beacon Adhesive Felt Glue
  • Beacon Adhesive Power Tac
  • White balloon (5" size)
  • Red or Pink craft pom pom (1" size)
  • 1 waffle cone
  • Sprinkle Pop Shop Sprinkles (Unicorn Rainbow Jimmies)
  • Hand-held air balloon pump

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blow up balloon using hand-held air balloon pump. Before tying balloon, place in opening of waffle cone to ensure it’s small enough to fit inside of cone.
  2. Line inside opening of waffle cone with Beacon Adhesive Felt Glue.
  3. Place inflated balloon inside of the waffle cone. Hold gently for 10 seconds to secure balloon to the glue.
  4. Line the outside rim of the waffle cone with Beacon Adhesive Felt Glue.
  5. Pour sprinkles onto the glue on the waffle cone rim.
  6. Squeeze Beacon Adhesive Felt Glue onto top of balloon.
  7. Gently rub in glue with finger in a circle motion.
  8. Pour Sprinkle Pop Shop sprinkles onto the wet glue on the balloon top.
  9. Place a dollop of Beacon Adhesive Power Tac on the sprinkled balloon top.
  10. Place craft pom pom on the wet Power Tac and gently press down to secure the "cherry".
  11. Let cones dry overnight.

JOANN HACKS:

  • Glue sprinkles on the outside of the waffle cone rim in 2 sections. It’s best to pour sprinkles on glue when it’s wet and tacky.

  • When drying, place cones in cups to dry in an upright position without smearing glue and sprinkles.

  • This project looks best when utilizing colors of actual foods. Use white balloons for vanilla ice cream, brown balloons for chocolate ice cream & red or hot pink craft pom poms for cherries.
